Customer Pro-File Invoicing Software for Translators
Thank you for your interest in Customer Pro-File for Translators!
One concern many people have is how to produce invoices that look professional.
"I need to send an invoice but I don't really know how to produce one at all. I am worried about looking unprofessional because I don't know the standard way of doing things."
My recommendation is to buy Customer Pro-File. It's specifically designed for translators and lets you keep track of all your client data, generate invoices, overdue notices and reports on monthly/yearly income or per client income, you can keep track of business expenses, how many words you've translated, you can even make your own glossary and you can customize several invoice templates in different languages. I use it all the time and have been since 1999 - it really keeps me organized.
You can try Customer Pro-File for free for 25 invoices and if you like it, you can buy it for just US$59.

As with any new program there is always a bit of a
learning curve, and, especially if you're not familiar
with how databases work, CPF may require an initial
bit of effort. I suggest reading through the Quick
Start guide (which you can print) and also browsing
through the user manual which is helpful (and short!).
There are also Red Question Marks throughout the
program. When you see one click on it for instant
help.
